5. What does replacement parts mean?
Vikay is an independent supplier of new aftermarket replacement parts and is not affiliated with manufacturers mentioned on this site. OEM names and part numbers are used for reference only. These replacement parts meet and/or exceed the original manufacturer's specifications.
6. What is the product compatibility?
All new aftermarket replacement parts supplied by us are compatible and interchangeable with the corresponding original part, meeting all original equipment specifications.
7. How is your Quality defined?

11. What is the warranty of the spare parts?
Vikay warrants parts to be free from defects for 60 days from purchase. This excludes altered or modified products. Remedies are limited to repair, modification, or replacement. Vikay is not liable for special or consequential damages. Returns require written authorization. All disputes are subject to Mumbai jurisdiction, India.
12. Is there any Minimum Order Value (MOV) requirement?
Yes, the MOV is USD 500.
13. What is an RFQ?
RFQ stands for Request for Quotation. We provide you with an offer based on your request.
Pre-Shipping FAQ’s
14. How do you ship the cargo? What is the logistic support?
We ship cargo on Ex-Works basis. You can choose:
- By courier: Book shipment at your end via DHL/FedEx/UPS/TNT and share the Booking Reference Number.
- By air/sea: Provide details of your nominated agent in India for cargo handover.
15. What is Inco-Terms?
Inco-Terms are pre-defined commercial terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce, used in international commercial transactions.
16. What is a nominated agent/specified carrier?
A nominated agent is your chosen shipping agent in India who handles the shipment for you.
17. What documents will you provide with the shipment?
Standard: Invoice, Packing list, AWB or BL. Extra charges apply for special documents like Certificate of Origin, GSP, third-party inspection, or legalization.
18. How do you pack your products?
- By Air/Courier: Corrugated package
- By Sea: Wooden package / Metal rack / Metal cage
19. What is Proforma Invoice? Why do I have to sign it?
It lists order details and is required by customs. Stamp and sign it, then email the scanned copy to us.
20. When will I receive the Proforma Invoice?
After receiving your order with details like mode of dispatch, port of discharge, destination, and required documents.
Payment FAQ’s
21. What are the Terms of Payment?
Advance payment via Swift or T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) against our Proforma Invoice.
22. How do I transfer funds via Swift or T/T?
We will send you our bank details along with the Proforma Invoice. Send us the MT-103 copy after remittance.
23. What is MT-103 Copy? Why do I have to send it?
It is the bank-to-bank remittance advice needed to trace your payment.
24. How do I know the payment has been received?
We will acknowledge receipt by email.
25. What is the delivery/lead time of my ordered Items?
Delivery will be scheduled as mentioned in the Proforma Invoice after payment receipt.
Post-Shipment FAQ’s
26. What is the status of my order? How will I get updates?
We will inform you via email once goods are ready. For courier mode, you must book shipment and share the booking number. For air/sea, your nominated agent will collect the cargo and we will confirm pickup by mail.
27. How do I track my shipment?
Courier mode: We provide a scanned waybill.
Air/Sea mode: Your nominated agent updates you, or we provide AWB/BL details.
